1994 Mercedes S124 E300D 7 seat estate.
Mine for 17 years. 5 previous owners. Please feel free to look at the previous MOT history.
Registration is L143PSC, V5C present and in my name.
This is an unusual high specification S124 Estate. It is finished in Pearl Blue Metallic and it has a dark blue Sportline leather interior and a Sportline chassis. Chassis number can be supplied upon request for you to do your own research. All of the usual areas of concern have been addressed during my ownership including a rear suspension rebuild, new fuel tank, new fuel/hydraulic lines, etc, etc.
The fully working front heated seats have electric adjustments, including the headrests. The driver’s seat has a two position memory setting that also moves the steering column. It has working AC and is fitted with ASD. All seats are in very good condition, showing little signs of wear, especially the driver’s seat bolster. It has all the refinements associated with a top of the range car from 1994. Everything works as it should including the sunroof and soft close rear door.
In 2018 the car was fitted with an OM606.962 engine and 722.6 gearbox from a W210. These are controlled by a DSL1 and OF Gear controller respectively.
It has 6 reconditioned injectors and all of the glow plugs have been replaced.
Due to a change in jobs and the current pandemic it hasn't been used very much.
Taking it for an MOT recently I was told that, at a minimum, it needs welding at both rear sills and the driver’s side inner wing needs a patch repair. There may very well be other items that need addressing but these are the obvious problems.
There is NO current MOT.
It starts, drives and stops well. No clunks, bangs or strange noises.
Genuine Offers welcomed or swap for manual small car suitable for a Learner.
