ohso retro show Margate Sun 26th Sept

nicely organised show , few gaps in the show field but with the panic over fuel i was impressed with the turnout , if anyone else attended please add you photo’s

good mix of cars from air cooled , old fords , merc’s ,bmw , hot rods , minis
some japanese stuff and everything in between.

music played all day .. it was fun guessing what song the singer was killing at one time :-)

i really liked the 2002 touring as well

i could easily have driven that one home

the little black fiat 500 has a motorbike lump stuffed in it and so did the davrian

Lovely selection of stuff. Think the 510 coupe would do it for me, but plenty to pick from.

It was a good day out, and, I was also impressed with the turnout, the stars for me was the sleeper 27k Green Mk1 Cortina with the turboed S2000engine, and CA Bedford with the Dunlop advertising, brill, Bearing in mind I have a wide apreication of many scenes, but there was defiantly some that were WTF of good taste. or is that me, now the wrong side of 60, having a humourless moment.... Managed to catch up with a few old mates too let the wife drive me home via Dover all the way along the coast to a windy Hastings, All in All, a top day out

Is that slinky yellow coupe near the end of the photo album the experimental Gilbern that never made it into production? If so, it's the same colour as my Invader Mk 3, which I think is an original Ford colour

yes it was i was surprised as i thought gilbern only made the GT and the invaders

it was so low i said to the guy who owned it he must be pretty nimble to jump in that ,

yes the bedford was cool and the mk1 cortina was gorgeous i messed up with my phone i somehow turned the screen brightness off and thought the battery had died in the sun i couldn’t see what the issue was !!!

Yes, its a Gilburn, initially I thought it was a Piper GT
