1994 Vw Polo 6N 1.6l 8v GL Pistachio Green 5dr
150,000 ish miles (car shows 109,000 as I had to swap in new clocks for the MOT as they weren't working). Car is MOTd until Jan 2022 and runs and drives perfectly fine!
Only selling as it just doesn't get used enough to justify the costs of running two cars (I have a mini that I daily drive). Bodywork is obviously not great, I think it would make an awesome patina/rat look car slammed on some coils. My plan was to strip it and paint it as a harlequin replica being a 5dr Pistachio base.
Good points
- GL model so sunroof, electric windows, height adjustable seats etc!
- Aftermarket RHD green Hellas included
- Mint 15" Mk3 Golf 5 spokes with full tread matching continental tyres all round
- factory looking aftermarket radio with AUX and Bluetooth
- All welding done last MOT by a qualified welder, I have before and after photos (absolutely no welding is needed for another MOT now)
Bad points
- Exhaust has started blowing (great excuse to put an aftermarket one on!)
- Drivers door lock has stopped working, passenger door lock still works and locks/unlocks all doors fine
- passenger window motor is acting up, window still works just is a bit slow going back up
- might need the rest of the brake pipes changing for the next MOT (been quoted £150 to do this)
- headlining is sagging all round
-paint/bodywork is obviously bad, would make a cool patina/rat build though!
