Until earlier this year my mum, who is in her late 80's, owned a '65 woody mini countryman/traveller, that was practically immaculate.
However she's stopped driving, because of her health and covid etc, which means that on the last year it's only done 35 miles, so she sold it to an auction house.
Yesterday she got a phone call from the new owner, who is over the moon with his'new' car!
Apparently he had one years ago, and is now on a position to have another, he and his partner love it
So pleased that it's gone to a good home, it was like parting with a family member!
