Three door special edition (sprint) in Caribbean blue over grey , 1.4 MPI k series engine ,5 speed manual box , on the road ready to drive away .
This is on sale behalf of a friend , the car has been fully recommissioned during lockdown and now due to ulez it is no longer sadly viable .
The car has had the following done in the last year
Timing belt, water pump , idlers, head gasket (didn’t require doing but was done as precautionary) and fully serviced too, complete brand new exhaust system too.. so a lot of money in parts and labour alone
new rear trailing arm bushes , drop links , 4x new Yokohama tyres too
It is remarkably clean and no rot at all as sills and arches shown but the paint does have some blemishes to be expected . Original dealer plates , and it has only covered 50 odd thousand miles ! Not a lot of service history sadly but receipts for current work there , (previous owner lost service book sadly ) but it is very genuine and very very original . It really is a gem and definitely a worthy Rover to have .
One point to be noted the idle does ever slightly fluctuate on sitting but it does settle down and drives perfectly fine and is used every weekend for local runs and trips - just being honest and transparent!
