Hi all, I have a rather lovely 1979 1.7 petrol Sherpa and I'm after a little help. I'm after a replacement distributor and can't track one down online that fits the 78-82 bracket for this vehicle. Does anyone know of good places to get hold of these less than common parts for old vehicles? Or later vehicle parts that might work? Planning on a trip to the outer Hebrides in 2 weeks so time is pressing ha! Thanks, Will  |

Try the distributor doctor they can rebuild virtually any lucas distributor.

What’s wrong with the current one? What does it look like?
Presumably it similar to those used in other BL 1.7s like Ital, Ambassador etc?
