One of the best builds in years.

Just so much attention to detail, and there is a ton of it.

The colour, perfect.

What it needs (divided opinions come now) is a registration plate like MSF17A or MSF177A

I don't detest it. I really appreciate all the work that's gone into it and the irony of the weird paint colour. It's extremely clever with nods to various different designs. And it's also rather ugly from my point of view.

I like it, but I wouldn't want it, if that makes sense...

I think this is a great observation. I like it, it's great to look at and loads of effort has gone into it, with loads of details as others have mentioned. But I feel like there's way too much going on...

Fantastic workmanship. Amazing thing to look at as long as someone else owns it.

I hope it’s been dvla’d and not just riding around pretending to be a Ford anglia.

The best bit about this car has to be the absolute commitment to the vision. It doesn't matter if people do or don't like it, what matters is that it exists, it's doing something different and with confidence. There's so many little ideas to take away from it, the more photos I see of it the more I appreciate it. Even the tyre choice gets you thinking about what we accept as 'good' or 'bad'.

I have a lot of time for this car. I hope that whoever ends up buying it gets huge amounts of enjoyment from it.

I like it, but I think I was a bit disappointed watching the build that they didn't do it 1960s show rod style to match the body modifications.

Nail. Head. There’s so much ‘detail’ you can’t appreciate the whole.

The one simple, overriding thing about this car I just cannot see past is the firewall is over a foot too wide for the ‘grille’.

Now matter how many clever details and nice little touches there are, it will always look wrong overall.

It's very marmite. Everytime I see it I feel slightly 🥴 but the more I look at it the more details I notice and the more it works.

I like it but then I would.....I built it.
It's always divided opinion but I never had that in mind when I started the project. It was just a picture I had in my head. Very much a budget build (around 6k) & it evolved over the years, various front ends, supercharger,axle upgrade & more detailing etc.
I sold it a couple of years ago to Michael (the previous owner now).
He put his own stamp on it & really took it to a far more show car level which is how you see it now.
I'm very proud of it & utterly amazed that the pile of junk Anglia I brought back from Lincolnshire in my mate van has become as well-known as it has.

I don't want to change a thing other than make it a little more road legal. Can anybody on here recommend somebody who could fabricate wheel covers front and rear, either in fibreglass or ali sheet?
