Got myself an Amazon Estate with zero original interior. Not even a steering wheel 🤡
Door cards, seats, side panels, steering wheel - All of it!
Zero preference on colour - Just decent condition and complete please 😎
As close to Birmingham as possible but will travel
Thanks

I reckon that you are unlikely to find a full interior in one go, as Amazons with good interiors tend to be good elsewhere too, & thus don't get broken for spares. However, if it helps with the search, interior door panels on estates are the same as four door saloons. Front seats are all the same, except that 2 doors have a tilt mechanism (still useful on the front passenger seat of an estate for accomodating very long loads). '65 onwards front seat cushions & backrests are held on to the frames with machine screws & poppers, so swapping out damaged ones is easy. Sometimes individual cushions & other interior parts turn up on ebay. Door panels & seat covers etc are available new, but not cheap if buying a full interior worth. Front footwell panels are probably best bought new (or make your own!) - boot sidepanels & carpet also available new. Be aware that there are about three different shades of red & one fades very badly so generally not easy to match. The black & brown / tan interiors are probably easiest to find and match if buying parts individually. Green & light blue interiors are much rarer. I have a feeling that I have one or two tan parts in my garage, but certainly not a full set.
Btw, the car shown in the ad refered to above appears to still have it's correct rear seat base, but recovered with modern material. The rear seat backrest may also be a recovered original. Perhaps the correct covers are still underneath?
The Volvo OC forum used to have a thriving Amazon technical section (haven't been on there for ages, but guess it still does!), so worth posting on there too.

Ah I did wonder how/why those ghastly seats still managed to fit so well! I’ll have a look tomorrow and see what’s under there. This could actually be a huge breakthrough for the seating as I’m capable of redoing the rest of the interior myself and front seats will be the same as non-estate. Thanks!

So is Your other thread Your own sales add or did You buy it in the end from that add? Although the car is up for sale I’d still like to get as much of it back together whilst it’s still here. I think that’s my way of slowly convincing myself to keep it 😂
