EDIT - SALE ON HOLD
VW Golf Mk3.5 Cabriolet 2.0 Avantgarde
2000 W plate
128,000 miles
MOT April 2024, no advisories
Dragon Green
Green fabric roof
Black and grey fabric interior
16” BBS 2 piece splits as a factory option
Factory fitted retractable wind deflector
Bodywork in good condition for year, usual rust spots of lower front wings and leading edge of rear arches are very clean as can be seen in images. Some scratches, worst on rear passengers side shown in images. A couple of small dents in drivers front wing, again shown in the images. Over all though, very tidy for a 23 year old car.
Roof fabric is in good condition, no splits and it fits snuggly over the side windows. Electric operation works fine.
Interior is clean and tidy, no real wear to the upholstery. I purposely bought one with cloth upholstery for practical reasons as it’s used with the roof down most of the time. A previous owner has modified the centre console with a cup holder which kind of works. I can’t find the front off the radio but I’m sure I can find something to replace it.
Mechanically it’s good, engine pulls great, gearbox is fine and it drives well. It had a full engine service not long before I stopped using it for the winter. I replaced both rear shock absorbers and bump stops in March prior to the MOT.
Bought early last summer and used regularly as a bit of fun. Now selling as we want to get something older and are looking at Triumph Spitfires and the like. Would consider a deal with something like a Spitfire and can add cash your way for the right car.
Located in a village called Aslacton, around 15 miles south of Norwich.
