The OEM wheels: After repainting in Porsche colour 'Weissgold': Sourced some Signature SV101 forged wheels from the US. Fitted with the correct 'N' stickered PS4s: The interior is different to the usual black: In 2021 we fitted a Fabspeed Valvetronic Supersport X-Pipe system, incorporating very good quality HJS cats. Also Kline manifolds. In May 2022 we took the car to the kings of 991 / 992 Turbo tuning, ESMotor. They do incredible work and have a hub-driven dyno, rather than rolling road - much more appropriate for big-power projects. The car made 509whp on the baseline run. The car was remapped in-line with ESM's 'entry level' product. The headline stats are 686bhp (583whp) at 6,100rpm and 697lb.ft (945Nm) from 3,500 to 4,500rpm. ESM also figure the car with GPS: 1/8 mile in 6.63s 1/4 mile in 10.2s at 134mph 0-60 in 2.70s 0-120 in 8.56 To drive the car is totally transformed. Economy is unchanged or possibly slightly improved. No further plans for the mid-term. A Bilstein adaptive set-up is very tempting at some point.

Really nice colour combination. Also, the change of the original wheels to the weissgold really improves them immensely. The SV101s are great.
It must be an absolute rocket now!

Thanks Baron. Coincidently my retro ('94 Eunos) is called The Baron so seeing your reply confused me.
Yep I'm not a fan of diamond cut wheels. The wheels and lack of noise were the two main things I wanted to sort when I bought the car in March 2020.
As you can guess from the timing, I had plenty of time not driving the car but plotting the upgrades. It was a really enjoyable process dealing with Signature who made the wheels. They are made on an individual basis so I could spec the colour and offsets. Being forged, the shapes and sharp radii of the edges are incredible too.
It definitely shifts. I doubt I'll be intentionally searching for more power in the future but if any parts need replacing it's tempting to upgrade them if possible.
