hi i have a 1969 vw 1300 RHD beetle that i would like to fit a power steering on it . Is there a kit that i can bye please regards john

I don't know of a kit but corsa servo steering is often used for such conversions, so maybe use these three words as search terms.
Maybe somebody did some experiments?

The question that bothers me, and I'm sure there is good reason, but being rear engined, they don't have any weight on the front tires and should be light steering.

Good point however. I suppose larger and heavier wheels wouldn't help either. |
