	Bought some alloy wheels. Centre caps are missing one of these…….. Centre cap retaining ring/spring? I tried various search words on eBay. Failed. 45mm springy rings for keeping a centre cap in place. I need to get one or more. What are they called?

	No idea where to find one, but I'd call it a snap ring, or a wire circlip, which may help your searches. General mechanical component suppliers may be more useful than automotive specific in this case. Working out whether it'll be measured on the ID, OD or core diameter is the fun part when specifying a new one!
