I recently bought a 1972 BMW 1602. It's an Italian import.
Can anyone tell me what these wheels are and if they are rare? I don't think I've seen them before. They have a BMW stamp on them and are also stamped 'Made In Italy'.
I'm thinking of getting them powder coated and detailed a bit like a Fuch wheel.

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

That's an FPS wheel isn't it? They are similar to the optional 'BMW Light Alloy Wheels' fitted to the TII. Not sure how rare they are but I've not seen those particular wheels before. Edit, here you go... BMW 2002 FAQ

If they say made in Italy could they be Campagnolo? They bear a passing resemblance to other campag wheels

but going for this look? porsche 914 style That's the kind of idea I had if I get them powder-coated, maybe with a polished rim too. Most similar I've found is an FPS sand forged alloy. They seem pretty rare though.
