This air-cooled 1927 Franklin One of these Edwardian era Vauxhall taxis. They don't seem that strange when you realise the horse-drawn cabs that were about at the same time had essentially the same arrangement. I don't believe any survive, I'm not sure many were actually built. Charbens did a diecast toy, which is how I learned about them originally. Any donk. One of these Velorex fabric bodied things.

Been on loads but never driven one (yet) , semi auto gearbox would totally confuse me and the how quick can you corner in one I wonder. And it won't go into the garage.

Teslas. I've worked on a few, brought into my brother's bodyshop, but they were always dropped off in 'valet mode', so it would be interesting to try one with the full performance available. Not sure I'd want to own one though, as some of the build is a bit gimcrack, and the whole shebang comes across as a bit gimicky, with the keyless entry card, etc... Speaking of Alfas, I wouldn't mind trying a few classics such as Alfasuds, 75, etc., but wouldn't want to own any because of the usual rust problems. I've driven one, yes they are quick and the controls are very marmite (I hate touch screens in a car), conventional car attributes are pretty average, only thing which really stands out is how well the charging infrastructure is integrated to the car.

Porsche 911 especially an early turbo in guards red of course. I've never really been a fan of the 911 but would like to have a go just to see what the fuss is all about.
Also echo the Tesla, but only oif ludicrous mode was available.

They're not as difficult as you might imagine. When you're thinking about changing gear, you just select which one you want to suit slowing down or speeding up and when you need it you press the engagement pedal and it does it for you. Makes for a very smooth change and is well suited to slower vehicles. Used the one in my Lanchester briefly which uses column change to select the gear, and a foot pedal to engage it. Very nice system, especially in an era when most gearboxes were frankly still a bit dreadful.

DeLorean DMC-12: Just to say I had! Definitely a list topper and for the same reason. Most of my other choices would be new stuff. An M2, M5CS, one of the new Corvettes, maybe a Scat pack Dodge or similar... But rather than cars I think my "want to drive control" is more like: wooo now I'm away down the slippery sloped rabbit hole of traction engines byeeee
