Has anyone tried applying 2k direct gloss by brush? Just thinking about places like floors or engine bay.

I've rollered it, but it likes to leave behind air bubbles, I found if you 'tip' it after (basically stroke it with a brush) it gives a good finish.
The rollers don't last long before they break down though, even solvent resistant ones. I used some black mini rollers from Toolstation. Maybe get 5 minutes out of one, the cheap ones last about a minute before they disintegrate.
Put something down to catch the drips and use disposable roller trays and it's pretty good for out of sight areas with no overspray / minimal cleanup.
That's for direct gloss. I found epoxy doesn't require tipping.
Use foam rollers, the furry ones will leave all sorts of rubbish in the paint + tip off with a decent quality brush.
