Don~t know, but the lack of chrome makes them look pretty base model and the all read lenses might indicate non UK origins. French? No makers marks?

They look pretty Eastern Bloc to me. Lack of chrome and that very square divider makes me think it's Wartburg or similar.

They look a bit Jaguar Mk10 to me, but more 'industrial' so, maybe Eastern Bloc. Moskvitch etc?

I was gonig to suggest Moskwitsch 403, but maybe they had the same rear lights.  Edit: this picture from wikipedia shows the export version of the 403, the home market version had different lights. |

wow, hats off to you, i must admit Moskvich was one of my thoughts initially, but i only found these lights. i always thought i have some knowledge on old cars, but i must stand corrected! thx again, now i can tell the owner what they are for!
