All parts are from my 1990 Mk2 VW Golf GTI 8v. Digifant ECU and PB engine code. I've lost all love for finishing the cursed thing so now my house looks like a rubbish second-hand Halfords.
Parts are from a 35 year old rough car and unless otherwise stated are in average condition. I've noted damage where possible - if anyone is interested in parts I'll take plenty of photos so you can see exactly what you're getting. To save making the RR server fall over I won't put photos on yet but please do ask if there's anything you're interested in and I'll take a load. I've included part numbers where I can.
Collection will be preferred from Teesside, I can deliver or meet a reasonable distance by arrangement (and for a pie or two).
I'm open to sensible offers especially if you're wanting to buy a few parts (or all of them. Go on).
Black carpets, complete with no cuts or holes, would benefit from a good deep clean. £80 for front and rear.
GTI rear bench seat in grey tartan, has some filthy marks around the rear of the headrest mounts. I've stapled in a new piece of vinyl to cover the rear, £40
GTI door cards. Hilariously one of them (NSF) had been melted prior to my owning the car, I assume by the same imbecile who used a hot candle to weld in some sill patches. Therefore it has a very rough repair using a piece of MDF and some filler, painted plastic effect, in the finest tradition of "that'll do". The rears both have peculiar extra holes where they were screwed to the doors... £30 the set.
Body Big Bits
Bumpers, front and rear. The shells are rough and ready with some holes and scrapes however I sourced some solid bumper irons for both ends, cleaned them up, zinced them and covered them in black metal paint. New clips needed to fit shells to them - £100 for the pair.
Bonnet. Badly painted satin black, as was the rest of the car, because if it hadn't fought me all the way it would have been a rough and ready thing, not a show queen. Seems straight to my eye. £30
Front Wings. Repro. Fitted new last year. Fully zinced and undersealed. £100/ pair. Also painted satin black.
Windscreen. Fitted new a couple of years ago. Some overspray. New seal. £50 if you want to come and take it out before the car goes.
Front slam panel - new 3 years ago, zinced and Hammerited, £40
Other Big Bits
Exhaust middle silencers and back box, twin pipe. Split into three pieces. Seems solid, has had a quick wirebrush and blowover with high temp paint. £20
