It is a good picture! That Imp's a spaceframe chassis with an Imp lookalike fibreglass body put on, they used to use Imps as the basis for shillouette style racers a lot, as in many classes the idea was that the car had to have the engine and drive axle in roughly the same location as they were in the production cars, so the Imp, a lot of Skodas, and the VW Beetle, were often used because they allowed a rear engined (or if you pushed your luck just a little, and they often got away with it) a mid engined/rear drive layout, plus they were quite compact, which was quite good as because the basic outline (or shillouette, hence shilouette racer) of the racer had to be roughly the same as the production car, spoilers, vents, splitters not included, so a compact and small car to begin with would be more suitable than a car that would be forced to be big and heavy as a racer because the original was big and heavy. That and the Imp engine and transaxle were very suitable for that style of racing, being lightweight alloy and so easily removable. Nah, the Firenza was Baby Bertha, which was sort of the (little) sister car of the earlier Big Bertha, which was that Ventora. You see more about Baby Bertha than you do the bigger car, wasn't Big Bertha written off and that ended it's racing career?

Picture I took at Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2003 of Gerry Marshal being re-united with Baby Bertha..... I must admit, I thought this Firenza was Big Bertha too - now I know! ;D *Edit - sorry picture is abit huge!*
