And I'd be lime green. In fact, if I do a respray, it'd be like a pair of Tic Tacs. Hmmmm.
Where do I find this orange Monza?

Yeah, Mantaphil That's the fella, lol. He even said he had a Manta too, but the fact I was papping a Monza obviously completely overloaded my tiny pea-brain we-e-e-e-e-ll, Manta...Monza... they're all Opel-shaped things beginning with "M". And Phil or Phil are all... well, Phil-shaped things beginning with "P". Easy mistake to make. Anyone could do it. Nuthin' to see here, move along. You can go about your business, these aren't the droids you're looking for. To be honest, I'm so confused now I don't even know who I am any more. However, it does look really rather top-notch, especially on such a dull day! My mate popped round yesterday to help me with an especially annoying stuck suspension stripdown and he said there was a bright orange Monza just up the road. I thought it was funny, cos I'm sure I'd have remembered there being one around. But it really was just up the road. That'll be in Darkest Wort'ing, then

This weekend, I went to a French biker club's annual nosh-up and rumble (my girlfriend and her dad were playing in his band in the evening), I didn't take many photos of the bikes because I am largely ignorant off them, but one of the guys turned up in this: Despite all its protestations to the contrary, it's not a '32 Ford. As you can also probably tell by the way that it doesn't look that much like a '32 Ford... It's based on an inter-War Renault chassis of some sort, and is powered by this: BMW M10 of I'm not sure what size. An emminently sensible engine choice for something like this, simple, enough power to be fun, not enough complexity to make life difficult. I think the whole thing looked like cracking fun, except perhaps for the front brakes which consisted of the outer half of the drums and, erm, that was it And the one bike I did take a photo of, I know this is not a bike forum, but who can't appreciate the late '70s lunacy of a straight-6 powered motorbike A Kawasaki Z1300

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

Here's a clearout of my curse word cameraphone pics.... P100 pickup formerly used at my local stock car track, was about to be picked up for scrap when I took this. Blurry Mk1 Clio Mk3 Fiesta, not many of these about now. Early Hiace I believe. Trabant I thought these were rare? Anyone know what this is? I think it may be a Mitsubishi of some sort. Benz. Not retro but I couldn't resist snapping R 5OLE. Legendary. Corolla by night. I know which one I would rather own. Smoky and blurry Corolla driven by an old dear. Mazda 323, never seen one this shape before. All travelling fairgrounds use old ERFs and Fodens, it must be in their rules. And to finish, a VERY cool off-road 6x6 Mk2 Transit.

Not really spotted cos they are at my workshop Had a few olduns in this week, Nova has been off the road for a few years, we got it through the MOT now it's back for bodywork, the Jag comes to the UK once a year for it's MOT and service, the owner lives in france, it's LHD but he keeps it reg'd in the UK for some reason, ir's comoing in for an extended stay in the winter as it needs a new IRS cradle (bent to fook) and recon calipers, i really don't want to do them with the IRS on the car !! 1 300 and 1 240, both been rebuilt by us and back in for a leather int swap from the 300 to the 240 as it's the owners new daily (the 240 has ABS hense the swap of dailys)

A few spots since my last lot: A smashing looking Mini - was Cooper badged on the back. Newer mini: VW in that London A Talbot camper - I've never seen one of these before! Another Classic 900 at the footy: Black Beemer - they get quite a few interesting older cars at this local garage: Very clean looking Mk1 Golf: AX GT - looks like someone had ragged of the cover to have a neb at this - apologies for the shonky phone pic. Beatles Megane - not retro but worth posting! And the best spot, but sadly with no pics as I was driving was an properly slammed Imp just outside of Barnsley, camber on the wheels et al.

A couple from today. Having a pint at Andrewsfield airfield, when this pulled up. If you're going to drive onto a WWII USAF airfield, this is definitely the vehicle to do it in ('43 GPW) . Then, on the way home i pulled over to help this bloke get running again. Fortunately appeared to be just a vapour lock and he was on his way shortly after. Also passed an Austin 8, poking out of someone's garage. But covered up with blankets. Did talk to the owner, and she uses it regularly.
