What Classic cars have you owned when you were younger, that as a retro nut now, you look back on with regret, having sold them ? Mine are these; Mk1 Fiesta Supersport Mk1 Golf auto (small rear light model) 1980 Honda Civic Sport Mini Ironically, they were deemed pieces of curse word back then............if only I'd known

I've only owned two other cars that I don't still have: 1964 Morris Minor Van - my first car, sold to a Morris specialist for £800 (to pay the deposit on the Sprite). 1967 Volvo 121 Estate - £70 accident write-off spares car (now crushed), that liberated loads & loads of useful bits but I wish I'd had more time to get more parts off it Dad still regrets selling his 1937 Riley Lynx Sprite in '95, but that was for financial reasons, so unfortunately it had to go

I always regretted scrapping my first Imp, it was far too far gone to restore, but I wish it could have been different.

I had a 33 too, dog rough but sounded so sweet. The engine sound was the best thing about it. I had a Fiat 127 sport for while which proved to be the weakest car I ever had an accident in......

nearly forgot to mention my audi coupe 2.2 bright yellow - black out windows and a big audi badge up the side
For this occasion big means the whole side of the car
i loved it at the time but i do realise now that it may have seemed a bit tacky
the car itself was definately class though

Chrysler 2-Litre..... metallic British Racing Green with a green velour interior..... would have looked sooooo cool slammed..... Any of my old cars that now seem to be 'classics' ......which seems to be most of them
|
|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Most regretted my 1380 mk1 cooper s (rep) it was sooo fast and handled sooo well and was hand picked at Stamford hall show to be featured in Miniworld. Most greatful to be rid of Rover 114 Gta, i was conned into buying something modern and relyable and wasconvinced this was the closest thing to a modern mini. It was the biggest piece of f**king S**t ive ever been near! ok it handled when i slammed in and was running 600psi in the hydrogas, but i bust a head gasket after a week of owning it and i had to fix it in the street in the pi*sing rain in swansea and everything i took off it needed replacing! i had it 6 weeks and it cost me £750 good riddence.
