I purchased the car back in 2001 for £1K from a friend (I’ve known the car for about 8 / 9 years). I drove the car for a year or so before I decided that a major re-build was needed – all of this was under-taken last year at a cost of about £4K. The car is black with a white roof, bonnet stripes and arches. It’s got all the correct side and boot decals as well.
Solid inner and outer-sills (drivers and passengers side)
New passenger-side floor pan, A-panel, B-post, inner wing, kick board and door tread panel
Solid doors, roof guttering, valences, rear panels, wings – basically there’s only one small amount of surface rust which is on the drivers A-panel, but I have a new one to be sold with the car.

1380 Swiftune Engine, only done about 7,500 miles from new, It’s the ‘1380 Road Race Engine’ from here www.swiftune.co.uk/ with the SW10 Cam (I bought the engine second-hand when it had only done 7,200 miles for £900)
New clutch and throw-arm (the thrust bearing is a little noisy but really easy to fit a new one)
Weber 45 DCOE with K&N sat in a seam-welded weber box
Feeding the Weber is an electric fuel pump (mounted in boot) and a competition filter-king regulator

It only cost me £195 fully comp (24 - with no claims / convictions) for insurance and is in the cheap tax bracket to.
It’s a really fun and quick car (105bhp) to drive and always gets lots of attention at shows - I’m only selling it because I want another project to do (after the other Mini I’ve got sat in the garage!).
