They've been sitting under the house for ages now and I'm not going to use it so I thought I'd see if any of you fellas are interested.
I have most parts for fitting a Rayjay Turbo to the Rover V8 engine, Bought on Ebay over a year ago, it consists of:
RayJay Turbo (not much play in the shaft but would rebuild to be safe.
Exhaust manifold to mount turbo
Single 1 3/4" SU carb (that came fitted to the Turbo)
Waste Gate (probably seized and requiring rebuild.
I also have a Rover V8 inlet, modified and fitted with a Webber 38 DGAS carb.
Parts needed to complete the install would be:
A fabricated link pipe from the other exhaust manifold.
Fabricated link pipe to cars exhaust.
Turbo to inlet pipe
An Air filter.
I had two ideas for hooking this up, use the SU carb that came with the bits and a link pipe to the modified inlet manifold
OR
Use the Webber DGAS car in a sealed plenum fed by the turbo and junk the SU.
Would make an interesting RETRO conversion.
If bought I can I can deliver if you live on the way to Birmingham from Aberdeen. (going to the Autosport show next weekend.
Make me a reasonable offer, not too low though.
