Tis with a heavy heart, but I think that the Sapporo and I must part company...
I love itbut money is getting so very tight right now and she needs a sttarter motor (old one works, just very dodgy) fairly soon, plus general maintenance.

Overall in pretty good condition, various bits of rust, but not as much as you'd expect for a 26 year old J I don't think.

Asking for £500, which is what I bought her for beofre puting tax on her, taking her round france and fitting a new water pump etc etc etc.

Yeah, I know. Nor can I really.

The thing is, racking up a few debts has made me grow up even more and quite quickly. Because the NCB is on the Sapporo rather than the prelude, i'm getting crippled by insurance. Plus it needs the starter motor etc and at the moment, I have to be really sensible with my money.

If I had a better paying job, then there would be no question about selling it. However, I don't and won't for at least 4 months. And I don't' want it sitting around for 4 months not getting much use coz it won't do it much good

by the way, teh sapporo is a drive away bargain with Tax AND MoT.

No trailers etc needed. Just bring a can of oil if you're going on a long distance (the O rings are worn, but hey - its a very old engine. Shouldn't be a prob tho - 1200 miles around france took 6 litres)

I'm half tempted, I must say. Whats the rust/bodyfiller quotient? Any close-up pics of the sills, inner wings etc?

Its not bad actually

A lot of rust has been taken out of the inner wings and rewelded up very well.
Bit of filler here and there, but not a huge amount.
