	OK chaps and chapesses..... I have been offered an E30 for nothing by a customer in my dad's auto parts shop..... I don't know much about it (engine size, spec, doors....) but it's local to me (Biggleswade, Beds 2 mins off A1). What I do know is that the car failed it's MOT on some corrosion in the underside ONLY. Now the car is a runner, and the owner only gave up with it because for the £200 they were quoted for the welding required at the garage they managed to buy another complete car with a years ticket. So if your a bit nifty with the old welder this is a plum chance on an old beemer. Serious enquries email me (pogweaselAThotmailDOTcom) or PM me and I'll do the homework to find out more about it! 	Just been having a conflab with the owner - and here's the lowdown.... The car is a 1985 BMW 318i 4-door in green Running on "bottletop" alloys Chain-driven cam type engine (better than the poo belt-drives) with a new chain on it. Good bodywork. Basically all the car wants for is: > a wee bit of welding on the sills > A couple of the flexi brake pipes replacing > The rear suspension bushes replacing (a bit fiddley but still DIY-able - most garages quote a fair bit for doing this, that's why so many of these bimmers get scrapped - however a BMW specialist won't sting too much for it: My local one charges about £160 for the job) So for a very minor outlay you could have a bargain bimmer - either keep it or flog it: Don't forget I just punted out a tatty one for £350 and I could have got more....
