95 renault twing with a twist...
fitted with a rebuilt 5 gt turbo motor, balanced bottom end and some head work,stock turbo with variable boost and a nifty dump valve .
stage 2 clutch assembly.
ren 19 diesel gearbox ..stronger unit and decent ratios,hd driveshafts and cv's
bigger ren 19 brakes up front handle the stopping questions ..
stainless custom exhaust etc etc
intercooler and all that stuff you need .
runs cool for a gt turbo.. very reliable and quick enough ..without drinking gas like a wino at a free bar!
the car istelf is stock twingo pastel green, lowered on 15" 12 spoke alloys, shaved handles with thatcham approved remote alarm and windows (so you can get in the thing!)
one piece clear headlight/indicator units...with late rear light units... roof spoiler with 3rd brake light unit too (not a massive spoiler..but descrete thing )
bonnet has been re worked with intake for the turbo air filter and intake for the intercooler...
mot'd for 11 months , taxed for a few months too
drives really well , without a lot of the torque steer that effects turbo cars so much.. very sure footed and predictable... will embarras a few cars who don't expect it
but in general a nice fun q car, that can be used daily
