12 months MOT and 5 months tax. If I had to class the cars condition. I would class the car as being in good condition. It is not A1 or vgc.
Genuine 157, 000 miles from new with a total of 4 owners from new. The 1st 2 being the same person. He had it as a company car and then bought it from the company he worked for. I bought it as a daily hack of a bloke I worked with as the cosworth I still own spends more time off the road than on it :-(. House buying and the need to spend money on other cars forces a reluctant sale
It has had a yearly renewal of plugs, leads, etc. The oil has been changed twice a year. It has started to use oil and needs about 10mm on the stick after a couple of months. It starts first time cold or hot and has never let me down in the 5 odd years I have had it.
modifications - uprated suspension (Jamex). Which has lowered the car slightly. Later vented front disks and the later type calipers to fit. I did these mods about a year after I bought the car.
Problems.
Rust! It is just starting to taking its hold on the upper bodywork. I have taken photo's of the worst area's I know about
The car has never been welded for an MOT whilst I have owned it!
Other bad bits seat bolster on drivers side has gone and the dash is now badly cracked. The back bumper side bracket is also broken. Blloody street parking. The previouse owner 2 me had a low speed shunt with a car hitting the rear drivers side. Hence the difference in colour in the rear transfers. This was fixed on insurance in a professional bodyshop. Ihad the car 4 wheel aligned by protyres in Bristol. If I remember correctly the rear drivers wheel is a little out of alignment. In what plane I cannot remember. This has never caused me to replace a tyre or for the car to prematurly wear wheel bearings.
The car has been run by the last two owners on synthetic oil. I think the previouse owner did this from 1st ownership as well
In summary - A perfectly useable car which would last someone at least 2 years as a daily hack with no great expenditure :-D
I am after £550 ONO.
I would recommend viewing the car before buying
