Just a thought, but I've been offered an Essex V6 and four speed manual out of a Mk2 Transit ambulance with low mileage for £200, and a 2.8ltr Cologne V6 with five speed from a Capri 2.8 for a hundred quid.
Both still run and drive really well at the time of writing but might not by the end of the day depending on how often the phone rings.
If you're interested in either, they're both near Taunton in Somerset and it would be a shame to see them scrapped...
The ambulance could come as a whole, but the Capri is being broken for it's wheels, axle, legs and trim... So just an engine and box left. I've got no use, just figured somebody out there might?
