OK chaps. I need to reduce the number of vehicles I own so a couple are gonna be up for grabs.
We'll kick off with my spunkadelic Mk1 Escort Estate of 1974 vintage.
By no means a concourse show winner but has a lovely patina and a few choice retro "extras". Here's the lowdown:
1974 Ford Escort 1300L Estate
Bronze
91,000 miles from new
Cheap tax & insurance and very cheap to run (ideal first "retro" car)
MoT & tax till end July
Massive bootspace & seats fold flat - ideal for accomodating bikes / surf gear / camping equipment / young ladies of loose virtue (
)
Drives nicely, cruises at 75 all day long, nippy enough round town. Starts first time every time.
Loads of luvvely chrome for that retro bling factor.
7x13 minilite-style rims (nicely dished)
RS steering wheel
XR3 front seats - not pretty but v.v. comfy
Radio / Cassette playa.
fluffy dice & Retro-Rides sticka;D
Bad bits:
General crustiness associated with unrestored 31-year old car.
Small hole in nsf footwell will need a patch for MoT.

I'm asking £650 as is.
However, for £795 I'll do the welding and stick a years ticket on it, and give it a service too.
