Another item on the "get out of debt"selling spree! Believed to have come off a grasstracker with a 2 litre pinto engine.2 sets of trumpets included.Short ones and long ones + 2 sets of k+n filters 1 set used,the others boxed and brand new. Twin cam manifold is offset to clear the 131 block mounted dizzy. leaving my new car standard so not needed any more. £350 with the manifold or £300 without. Will take to RCS before i put em on the bay. Cheers, Wayne.    |

Do you know what the pinto set up was like. Cam head etc. And do you know what the chokes and jets are in the webers?

I've no idea what the pinto was set up like.I bought them off a friend who got them to put on his saab 900 rally car but he ended up selling it and had no use for them.They must've been sat on the shelf for the last 2 years.
I'll have a check on the choke sizes tommorow.

Now you metion it,I've got someone interested in the car and told him if he wanted the carbs with it i'd knock him 50 quid off them.I want around £1500 for the car which includes a very rare set of brand new doors which are like poor quality wobbly children's play pony sheite,2 new wings,a pair of new sills,a better boot lid,oh and a roof off a supermirafiori!
I would like to get around £1800 for the lot.
The car will have 12 months test when i sell it.
It needs a bit of welding to the front crossmember and the floor for the test and i'm swapping the axle over after it went bang on the way to work a month ago.
Will post pics of it if you want.
It needs quite a bit of work to bring it back around.
I was going to use it as a running restoration before i bought mi new motor.The price is based on what it think the new doors are worth and the rarety of some of the parts that are on it.The doors are proberbly the most sought after part for these motors.You cant get hold of a good set of used ones let alone brand new ones. My mate who restoring his car from a bare shell paid £350 for his new doors.

He hasnt taken anything as yet because he's working abroad at quatar at the moment,so everything is"provisionally"sold at the moment.
I'm getting the car ready for the test at the moment,as i told him it'd have 12 months on it when he comes for it.
