Due to lack of time and the fact that i need to get the cabby finished i have decided to put the CDi sleeper up for sale, here's the spec on her
87' CDi with 92,000 on her
F16 gearbox with 55,000 miles on it
C2.0XE, mileage unknown, but doesn't smoke or rattle.
Pipercross viper air filter kit
Longlife stainless steel exhaust system
15'' Cavalier expression rims with two brand new 195/50-15 tyres on the front
KYB shock and spring kit, lowered 25mm
Black diamond front grooved discs with EBC greenstuff pads on Cav SRI Mk3 calipers
Goodridge brake hoses and dot 5 fluid
Mk3 cav CDi elec sunroof motor kit.
Alpine CD multichanger with tape deck and radio
Alpine type R component speakers in the rear shelf with tweeters
Alpine V12 2/3/4 channel amp rated at 400 watts
2 x 12 subwoofers in an enclosure
Streetwires 4 ohms amplifier wiring kit
With the exception of the electric aerial everything works (and that includes the headlamp wipers)
Bodywork wise there is no significant rust, the roof and part of the rear arch was repaired earlier on this year at a cost of £350
To build this car would cost well over £1500 in parts alone, so far i have spent a lot of hours on her and she driver really nicely with no major vices
I have a file full of receipts that was given to me when i bought it, she has a full history up to about 89,000 miles and i cannot see any major work that will need doing, the rear legs are good, the plan was tgo waxoil them during the winter
I am putting up two prices, one include audio gear the other is without
With Audio gear £1200
Without the headunit, multiplayer, subs and amp £1000
She will come with 12 months MOT, tax will be negotiable, as well 12 months membership to www.mk2cav.com
Both figures may seem high, but you are getting a fully sorted conversion that needs NO work doing on her at all, it hasn't been rolling roaded but it is still pushing out the best part of 150BHP and is smooth and pulls from 1500RPM in any gear
More pics and a complete rundown on the transplant and what i have done so far can be found on my thread
