Apologies for the proliferation of ebay nonsense I'm spouting forth this evening.....but this was just too quality to resist posting up! WTF!!Although, spookily, does anyone else think that these rims actually really suit the car? A R-R first?? ;D

Thing is these 126's are an absolute hoot to drive. There's only one speed, and that's flat out! You soon start making full use of th ehandbrake and dodgy conering tactics to keep momentum up....and you'll always get out with a grin from ear to ear. Not so much a car, more a weather-proof go-kart!
Cheap as chips to insure too. Ideal for someone who is 17 and can't afford the premium on an Orion or Stellar, for instance! ;D

I have an admission to make... I used to want one of those when I was 17! I went for a Skoda in the end. Did look at a Suzuki Whizzkid (still want one of those!!), but I couldn't find one. Spot any common themes here? I had an obsession with rear-engined cars at the time . I just can't like three spokes

I love 126's and would have one anyday, it even looks acceptable with the three spokes.

A 'bike engined 126 is on my 'one day.....' list Mind you, it's a very loooooong list.... ;D
|
|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Fiat 126 Cool.
3 spokes never cool. Except maybe on Saabs.

I think factory three spokes are generally alright - it's them blobby smoothed out ones that just make me wanna yak. Same goes for cheapo blobby 5 spokes. Nasty.

True that, what are those awful smoothed out five spokes and very similar three spokes all about?! They're bloody awful, yet so many neds round here are obsessed with them, especially when they can't afford enormous wheels so they stick little horrible three spokes on instead. But there are a few factory three spokes that are alright really.
