Excellent stuff ;D
How much did the track day cost and who did you book it through?
I want to do a track soon-ish in the mg at donnington as its closest track to me, but noticed there is loads of different places you can book trackdays through....

GavinJ - Donington themselves organise the track days £95 the day +£20 for extra drivers or a passenger. Price goes up in March to £125 for the day. www.donington-park.co.uk/trakzone/Bank on using a weeks worth of fuel in a day and ruining tyour tyres unless you use some dedicated track rubber. Here's a tiny url for the broken link in the original post. tinyurl.com/6e7vp

Great videos I loved the way the face of the tyre is pulled away, I bet you didn`t tho'!! Did it flat-spot them badly?

Yeh, fronts have wires and carcass exposed and the two rears are flat spotted Luckily they were only old used testing Michelin slicks from the Clio cup (£60-70 a set) That flailing rubber made a racket.

I don't think you can at Donington, most people just buy a £50 motor cycle helmet or whatever. I got a nice AGV demon lid for £100 in a local bike shop sale ;D

That's how you spin off on the first corner after leaving the pit lane ;D I can imagine Tubthumped was amused by that. Reason for it has been concluded to be "Driver error" LOL

Reason for it has been concluded to be "Driver error" LOL Olly didn't have that wider track set up on the back end for this did he? IIRC I said that it would work just fine. Maybe not!
