At last, a lull in the weather and a spare hour saw the rear springs getting the grinding treatment. It's hard to appreciate how much it's gone down, until you see a standard one. Rmad and I took about 4 inches out the front, then I took a bit less from the back to give a slight rake (and still carry a load). Good news is, I can still get onto the driveway! Loads more to do but I've got a welder now so off I go!

Looks fantastic.
Polish the rims, paint the centres gunmetal or anthracite...would look great with a roof chop.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

That's made a big difference...it looks great! We'll have to keep a look out for some Ferrari rims now! (a set of 308 rims went for under £80 a couple of weeks ago on ebay!)

Rmad is determined to get it wearing those Ferrari rims! It's easy sneaking tins of paint past my wife, try doing wheels! Anyone got any freelance design to swap for wheel money?.......
Those trim holes are on the hit list now, plus, looking at that pic, I think the sills need painting red to visually take the body to the ground. Thanks for all the great comments, it helps loads, plus the funny looks it gets bouncing down the road, it looks different, but how?

Rmad is determined to get it wearing those Ferrari rims! I've done BMW 2002 wheels on a Viva, BMW BBS rims on a Passat, AMG Mercedes rims on a VW T25, VW Centerlines on a Skoda and Lotus wheels on a Toyota...the Ferrari/Volvo swap is my holy grail! (that and the Porsche 911/Mercedes Sprinter swap!)
