Having just heard the 800bhp Allard that lives down the road start up, I've remembered they're this weekend. Madeira Drive (right on the seafront) is closed for the day and a quarter mile is set up. Practise in the morning, competition from 2-ish and there'll be everything from Bugatti Type 35s and Bentley Blowers through GT40s and Mk2 Escorts to Murcielagos and F50s.  |

Brighton is a fantastic event, but clashes with Eurofinals at The Pod again this year.
