Ok, so i have some 15x7 wheels that i want to put on my mk5 'tina
i was planning on putting some 195/45/15 rubber on them but now i don't know whether to go for them or some 195/50/15 instead which seem to be somewhat cheaper. Also, according to this fitment guide
www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/TyreCalc.asp
the 50 profile would be 'better'
what d'ya reckon?
bear in mind it's not lowered as yet but i want to and also these new wheels have a wider offset than the original ones so the arches might need a bit of "rolling"
Also, i don't want to discuss the why's and why not's (unless it's an almighty no no) but i'm planning on white lettering on the tyres, can i just get one of those pens for the job and do it regardless of what tyre it is, or is it supposed to be only particular tyres
cheers![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
p.s. did anyone watch them probe wheels
