Well, it has been a while in developing and some of you were getting as irritated as I was getting EXCITED !!! Some months ago, Dave, "OLDBUS" sent me a PM to ask if I was still interested in a FORD TAUNUS TRANSIT FK1250, as he had possibly located one or two for sale from a collection. Is the Pope Catholic was my first thought?? Dave asked if I wanted him to pop down and take a look and I said, yes please if it is not too much hassle. Not realising that "POP DOWN" in Oldbus speak was more than 430km one way. Dave went quiet and underground, and on the Sunday evening there was a PM, he had gone to see the FK1250 and when he got there, there were three available for sale. HE HAD BOUGHT ALL 3 and brought 2 home already !! So I had a van. I will do a full readers ride report with the rest of the story when I settle down again. Dave has just arrived at me door.

I only wish I could have gotten down there to see it finally arrive. I can breathe easy now, I've had to keep Mum about it for the last 10 weeks or so. Plenty of beers being sunk in the Kent area this evening. Oldbus=Legend. Grizz=Happy Camper.
