Keep your eyes peeled in the Coventry area for my black Mercedes 190 Reg number C330 BMV. It was nicked this morning while I was back south. My housemate noticed it missing at lunchtime. I'm mildly miffed about it, its a major inconvience and really reduces my faith in mankind. Its been reported to the Police, so the car is now on the stolen car regisiter. Its not necessarily the car I miss, its the principle of not being able to leave anything anywhere without damage or theft. Its been a bad year for my cars being subject to damage. Rant over, just another warning to keep an eye on your motor. Cheers.

It does suck. Big time. I have a vague idea who it might be - a couple of gentlemen made enquiries about my Datsuns a few months ago. Luckily they're safe and sound away from prying eyes, but its in the hands of the law now.......lets see - a 20 year old merc worth peanuts. I wonder whether the Police will be really interested? Still, if they find it, I will never complain about warwickshire police stopping me every 3 months again.

Sadly these cars are as popular for stripping and exporting as the RWD Japanese stuff, they command a good price for export.

Thanks for the support guys. Like Nick said, its almost inevitably been nicked for export. This model was the standard carb version, obviously something the thieves knew.
I think its time I stopped buying cars that are in demand by exporters...
