Ok, well, curse word hit the fan with the KE70, the curse word thing will not start!!  Now, I thought adding a aftermarket ecu and buying most stuff new ment trouble free motoring but not here. I can get it to idle and the fact that the RR Show is next weekend and I have to go away on holiday on thursday until Sunday don't help as the car cant run, so I cant get it MOT'd and then cant drive it to the show. In the back of my mind, I don't want to go now, but I don't wana miss the show, but I have put alot of effort to finish the KE and to not have it here is just a big kick in the nuts! So, if i trailored the car down, but it cannot run, would I look like a trailor queen?? Its not, its just it wont drive!  And if I do bring it on a trailor it will be ok on the campside from theiving travellers??  you thoughts pleases fellow Retro Riders! |

Certainly won't look like a trailer queen, you'll look like you really wanted to be there and show your car off...
Trailer should be okay in the campsite, we have security.. can't account for human nature, but we're doing everything we can.

I think you should be made to wear some hen night style Fairy/Princess/Queen costume and a carry a big placard with the words "I Are Trailer Queen" on it all weekend. ;D |

hahaha! Yeah, I REALLY wanted to be here but I really want my car to be there. Its not a show off thing, I just want to put my contribution into the mix and it would really make me unhappy to NOT have my car there. I do still have the backup estate but I havent done anything to it but its the fact I wanted my 4 door brown KE at this show, or both! Anyway, its looking like trailor it is! |

Nothin wrong with showing off dude. A guy trailored a work in progress supercharged/turbocharged mk2 Golf to GTI International 3 years on the trot before it was ready to roll. I do like Seth's idea though but I'm a bit worried that you'll be the only entertainment in the evening because there are no DJs, Discos or dancing girls. Oh well. There have been worse...  |

To echo everyone elses, bring it down working or not. TBH although my car works (just about) it don't look half as cool as your, sooooooooo DO IT!!!!!
But yeah some kind of dress o' humiliation is a good idea ;D

the van will be there on a trailer got way to many jobs to do on it to be able to get it mot'd in time but it will be going kicking and screaming if it wants ;D ;D

I got a trailor in operation dudes, and so will be there in force! Lip spoiler is on route too and new tyres aswell. All these were ordered before I know it couldnt work but nevermind. Also a bit gutted, as booked all of next week off so I could make sure I had time to finish it off, MOT it and get it all shiney. Now just looks like a week infront of the Xbox 360, and making a set of fairy wings for Seth! lesson 1. don't leave things to the last minute and be less lazy! |

I trailered the Locost up last year. This year I'll be trailering up the Pug as it isn't taxed/insured and if it breaks (which no doubt it will) we need to get it home! The car is battered, the trailer is battered, who cares! |
