Have been thinking ever since the passes got sorted that it would be cool to do a banner/sign for the South West and Wales stand. I have got an old sierra bonnet or possibly a road sign to deface in the name of RetroRide-ness. Seeing as itβs the show this weekend I thought I might pull my finger out of my bottom and do something (unless anyone else has sorted it?) and do it quickly! Heres a design I quickly mocked up last night, possibly it maybe a bit third reich for some. Sorry my inspiration came from a Slayer t-shirt hanging on my radiator. Oh well if anyone else can do better in there lunch break be my guest ;D I plan on using rattle cans and masking tape. Just wanted to get some feedback? Good idea? Bad idea? Or got a Better idea please help!!!!!!!!!

Well I like it and I like Slayer. Just a bit wary of the work Militia. I'm a lover not a fighter LOL.
How about Collective, although thats more letters so harder to stencil.

I like it but as tarka said "collective", "devision" or something like "chapter" might be a better word to use?? also it may be a bit natzi-like so it could offend a few?? other than that it looks quite good... maybe a simple iron cross type thing?? si

Iron cross instead of Eagle, and Collective instead of militia, that cool as long as eveyones happy that good. I will try and sort out an alternative desing to night!
Thanks for the feedback guys, anymore? Is red too harsh maybe the retro-ride blue is a better background colour!

After hauling the bonnet on to the flat foof of the flat below (sure that its not in my tenancy agreement) I sprayed up the bonnet is grey primer, looks sh!t cause I did a rush job and I come back 10 mins later to find the local sea gulls have crapped all over it. To make matters worse, due to my lack of prep the sticky stuff I failled to clean off the bonnet in the first place is visible. So in short it looks total poo! Lesson for next time DO NOT LEAVE IT TO THE LAST MINUTE So if anyone has any back up plans, suggestions are welcome. Maybe we can bodge sommit together on friday/saturday?
