Looks like the camping for the Friday is sorted so if anyone wants to hook up, here´s the "cunning plan" for RR08.
Thursday 14 August
The Busraser (Thorsten, Mike, Ottmar and me) will meet up at 10:00am on the A2 in Essen.
Cruising at 90km/h - the route from there is via Duisburg, Venlo, Eindhöven, Antwerpen, Brügge, ending up at the caravan site in Adinkerke early evening. Last year we stopped off near Eindhöven for a break, if the weather´s good we can get the BBQ out again..
Overnight at caravan site
Friday 15 August
Breakfast and short drive from the Camping site to Dunkerque for the 10:00 Ferry to Dover.
This should get us in to Dover for 11:00 UK time.
Get round the M25 as early as possible and have a break.
Meet up with the south east convoy maybe and continue up to Gaydon.
Overnight Gaydon camping
Sat. 16 August
Recover from the drive and maybe the beers from friday ;D

recover from Saturday and hopefully
Overnight Gaydon camping (if this doesn´t work out we´ll find a camping site locally)
Monday 18 August
Nice quiet bimble down to Dover, Fish & Chips for lunch (i´ve promised my son!) and catch the afternoon ferry.
Drive up from Dunkerque
Overnight Caravan site Adinkerke
Tuesday 19. August
Drive back the same route as Thursday and bimble home.
To keep the convoy together we´ll have to all book the same ferry. I´ll take care of the Busraser but anyone else joining up will have to book it himself.

They want 108 Euros for a standard car on a return ticket.
As we´ll probably have a trailer or caravan with us it´ll be more expensive. I haven´t booked the ferry yet but won´t be waiting too long as they get more expensive the longer you wait.
I´ll have my mobile on (for a change) and we can exchange numbers via PM so that we can organise things on the day.

In fact we´ll be doing a practice run end of May as we´re going to Classic Ford at Santa Pod as well. ;D
