What exactly is happening on the Saturday? I've just been asked to be godfather to a friend's daughter and the christening is 17th August, in Worthing. As a result, if I go to RR08 (whixh I really want to do), it will only be for Saturday, and then driving down south on Sunday morning.
Will it be worth being around just for Saturday & Saturday evening?

Not sure what people have planned for Saturday, nothing official. Probably some cruises out to spots for some photos, some museum mooching around,.. some people going to the Pod...
