Lone traveller looking for a ride to EU after RR08

'Tis just an expression of interest to the relevant paties.

RR08 is very far from my home, but I'll be there!

I'm travelling Europe for 6 months or so and heading out of the UK right after RR08. Was toying with the idea of trying to catch a lift over the channel with some like-minded retro enthusiasts (chipping in for petrol of course).

I was planning to be in Aschaffenburg, Germany by the 26th of August (to see a band and meet a friend) but have no plans as such in between RR and then.

Kick me out in some random French provincial town, if you please! It's all part of the adventure

So if you have a spare and willing seat in an eastern travelling car, I'm listening
