It's gone back to the garbage display i was getting the other week, i clicked something at the bottom of the page to put it back to normal last time but the option doesen't appear to be there this time? Can anyone give me any pointers, I'm sure i read something on here the other day about it?

That's what i clicked the other week but it isn't there now. They've either got rid of the option or they've hidden it elsewhere.

Been back to the new sh1t format for me for over a week, i did find the 'opt out' clicker at the bottom of a page today, clicked it, worked fine while i was browsing on that sesh, soon as i clicked off & went back the new format reappeared & the opt out doodah did a bunk..   gash |

I'm still using the 'opt out' version, and has e-mailed them to say that I will be opting out for ever if the new version is the only option.

Yup, you can only use eBay's nu-search now - no opting out of the "New search experience".
Hurray, we'll never find anything ever again.

No new search here, still using the old type and it doesnt revert back to the new type either, so if anybody gets stuck finding anything pm me with your requirements and i will search for you  |

One "up" of the revised search function is that you can browse ALL the bilge local to you.
Previously it was not possible to specify "cars, parts & vehicles" and search within 10 miles of your postcode. Now you can, opening up a whole new world of local grot you may have missed before.

One helpful trick for us retro-fanciers is in cars where it says year of manufacture you can pick just the years you want, not just pre '70, '70-'89, etc. I rather like that. |

I've still got the regular "search experience" thing going. If you want the "opt out" thing to re-appear, on the starting screen leave the search box empty and press search, then it'll bring up a page with all the categories on it, scroll to the bottom and the opt out option should still be there. Hopefully.
