Bought it for the first time in ages last night, usually read some issues my dad has hanging around when we go and visit.
Its mainly dreaming material, Lamborghini comparisons etc. etc. But good article on buying a Fiat 500, the only surviving 4x4 Capri (!!), a bunch of good club articles for us humans, and a bunch of drool worthy adverts for the others!
Kinda suprised, last time I read it, it seemed to be all Bentleys, Ferraris and jingling of jewellery.

Classic Cars this month has a Stratos and an orange Miura just like the one wrecked in the Italian Job. Also a review of car films, Bullit etc. And one of the staff has just bought a MK1 Escort.

Haven't bought either of them for ages, I buy enough mags each month as it is! ;D
When I do I prefer Classic Cars though, more 'normal' machinery in there it seems.

Just being picky, but the Miura in the Italian Job was Red not Orange!

We were both right then!
BTW: It doesn't look that Orange on either of my versions!
Did you also know there were 4 different Miura's used to make the film? Three at the beginning and one parked at the side of the Piazza just as one of the car transporters crashes through the Cafe.

ORANGE. and another thing the coolest cars in The Italian Job were the Black Fiat Dinos... Agreed. There's a shot from low down of one of them sat at the side of the road with the indicator blinking, that's the COOLEST car in the whole film! I want one ;D

My brother is in the local Mini club here in Galway and they have booked the local Theatre which used to be a cinema , to show the Italian Job on its old big screen,. All proceeds going to charity. Cant wait for May 17th About three or four years ago it was shown on the big screen in a cinema in Liverpool. It was fantastic to see it as it should be seen, and of course everyone in there knew all the words ;D Everyone cheered and shouted along as Michael Caine says "you were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off" ;D ;D ;D
