Just a thought but we seem to have some highly skilled and knowledgeable folks on here yet any informative threads seem to get lost in the mists of time.
Is it worth considering some form of section that deals with the basic resto issues of cars?
Some folk are engine builders, some tuners, some tyre experts and body restorers, I'm a well skilled welder/fabricator (as a few others on here are) and i know theres a host of other skills on here.
I'm not sure how it could work but someone wanting say....welding advice, could look at the welding thread and read up on it and leave a question if their particular problem isnt there.
same could be done for lowering, roofchopping, spraying, electrics, turbocharging etc. basically a skills section and database that would be easily accessible and a mine of useful info.
I know its easy to ask and get answers on the general forum but the same question can reappear weeks apart quite regularly from different users so why not make an area in which we can all access and find answers without searching pages of general posts?
Seems a shame to have skilled folk and not build a tech section to show of their skills and knowledge?
