Nice find there, here's my mate's (in Droitwich, not a million miles from you IIRC)

Damage has been repaired now!
XE-powered, 230+ bhp and goes....well, as you'd expect, it's soilyerpants quick. Overall Class C winner in the CMSG Stage Rally Championship in 2004.

He's got quite a few spares kicking about I think.

it is in fact quite amazing. to my annoyance my dad had a ti which he stupidly sold years ago before they were considered classics, i tried to convince him not to, but to no avail.
nowadays ive not seen one outside of a rally or a show in the last 5 years

I'm on the hunt for pannels at the moment.
sills and possibly a rear pannel.
other than that, grill and front lights are wanted too

Well i`ll start with the bad news first,the Series 2 front lights are really hard to get hold of.
When they do appear on ebay they fetch silly money (check this out !)-

It would be easier and cheaper to convert the front to the Series 1 lights as they are alot cheaper and easier to find.
Btw whats wrong with the lights on your car ?

I think Ex-pressed steel panels ltd and shapecraft do some panels,if you get some Avenger sills they can be modded to fit,try to get the full sills with step and not just the cover ones.
The rear panel will be pricey,i`ve seen them on ebay occasionally.

the chrome has gone brown. i might be able to get them re chromed.
But i want to do a rally rep so the early grill may be the idea to go for.
I'm not to fussed on originality. just want to fill my childhood dream ;D

If my lights were like that I would definately get them refurbed or sort them out myself.
You should be able too remove the lenses by heating the sealer and get some chrome paint (heat resistant) to sort them out.
I`d like to know what you mean by childhood dream as these cars are alot older than you are !
Most young lads don`t even know what they are,i had some local youths say to me that my car had a Tacchini Badge on the front !
Anyway congrats on a good little project,if you would have bought one a few years ago you could have got one for next to nothing.
