Went to test drive a car today (OK, so not a retro but a 2yo Saab Aero convertible in bright Cerulean blue). The plan (my plan 
) is to get a new-ish convertible and an older retro to use when I'm going into Leeds or on wet days.
SWMBO got in. Got out. Walked off.
Her comment ... "it makes a statement, doesn't it".
Of course it does - that's the point !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Basically, it's too 'flashy' for her.
So sitting in a bikini on a white Bond Bug doesn't make a statement
