That bloody IS is going back and I'm probably going to reject it.
The paint chips they were going to fix didn't get done but I could live with it until they could book it in.
But the steering shimmy that they "Fixed" before collection wasn't.
And weirdly, it isn't constant. It goes away after about 20 mins. It comes in between 50 and 70 in 3rd/4th/5th/6th, when you can get it to shimmy, you can't accelerate in 5th, if you use 6th it will actually drop speed at full throttle. Then suddenly it is gone, and won't come back until the car is totally cold. And it feels bloody dangerous when you can't keep up with traffic in the first lane with your foot flat to the floor and your knuckles getting white.
Add to the fact that a modern, smallish 2.0 car with a fly by wire throttle is only managing 21mpg combined, and I'm right pigged off with it and they have it back.
Sale of goods act, fit for purpose, marchantable quality and jobs required for the deal not being done and all that.
