I am advertising this on behalf of my brother.
My brother bought a Mk2 Golf G60 a few months back from E38 Forum. Unfortunatly the day after he bought it he started having problems. The car was taken down to Darren at G-Werks and the decision was made that the engine needed a re-build. So £1500 later he got it back. Everything has been replaced, including having 2 pistons replaced and a cylinder head as the old one had suffered from oil starvation. My brother then used the car as his daily driver, while running the engine in untill a few weeks ago when the charger decided it had had enough and packed in. He now cant afford a replacement charger so is looking to sell the complete conversion.
Now the engine itself runs like an absolute dream, which is of course to be expected after having £1500 spent on it. It hasnt been run in completley as yet, although it has had 2 oil changes so far. The engine requires about another 500 miles then needs to go back to G-Werks for Darren to check it over and make any adjustments. This of course is free as my brother has already paid for it.
So included in this sale is:
1 totally rebuilt G60 Engine complete with all ancilleries (however no charger)
1 G60 Gearbox
ECU
Wiring Loom
Drive Shafts (if you need them)
Front Mount Intercooler with all pipework
This is an absolute bargain for anyone looking to convert there Mk2 into a G60. All you need to find is a charger and your laughing. I will even chuck in the toothed belt kit so once you have found a charger you can bolt it straight on. Before he bought the car it had been rolling roaded at 240bhp! On the way home from collecting it my 300bhp Evo couldnt keep up with it!
If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I have the reciept from G-Werks to show the engine has been re-built and I will even get Darren himself to verify it if I have to.
Conversion is located in Epsom, Surrey, KT19 and I can deliver it within 50 miles for a small fee. I would however prefer the buyer to collect it. We will remove it from the car though.
I am asking the bargainous price of £700. I will entertain serious offers though.
Cheers
