47k on the clock, tax exempt. Just four owners in forty years
New MOT just yesterday - needed just a wheel cylinder, that was all.
Walnut dashboard, leather seats, power steering, automatic gearbox.
If it looks like an giant four-door Mini with a stuck-on grille, that's because it is. ;D This was the big-brother to the Austin 1100 and Mini. This was the 'upmarket' Austin 1800.
Good and solid. Some bottom door bubbling, but not bad at all. It is, after all, 42 years old. Nicely repainted some years ago. Had sills in its lifetime, done very tidy.
Reconditioned PAS rack fitted in October.
I've owned this a year and it's been reliable. It's been shown a few times.
See further blurb and plenty of pics here 193.118.14.76/jason/motors/crab/
This is extra rare as it is a 'true' Mark 1 with the 'blinking' indicator stalk, etc.
I'm asking £1400
